Party-LFG Icon
LFG Icon
Its something that been done in other games. While with the Party-menu in GW, party searching should be lot easier, and this will help enhance that.
Idea is simpe. when you put out a LFG or LFP in the party menu while in an outpost, a small icon will show up on top of you head (differnt from LFG or LFP). This allow a visual que to know what is your purpose, and help with the party finding process (eaiser to "pick up player" passing by, instead of just relie on the in-human menu interface).
Can even add an addition feature, where when click on that icon, shows the tag message. (which could also be use for other purpose as well)
Could also extend it to other tabs as well, like merchanting or guild members.

Instead of a image over your head (might not work well in all areas or crowded conditions) how about an icon next to your PC name?
I'm going to /sign this either way because IMO not everyone knows about the party search function or not everyone uses it... Made appearent by the fact 2000 people were spamming wts/wtb in droks A1 earlier yet there was only one entry in the party search and that was a farmer.

Nice idea. It is entirely doable just a small update should make it possible. Just need to make the icon that is over our heads different than the ones over the NPC;s and it would be nice.

Don't think it need to be very big (the icon)
the n/6 number you need next to a group server of similar pupose, but think could be bit more pronounce.
Another way is just to change the color of the character's name. (so Bluish-green for LFG and red for LFP.. things like that)

Sounds like a neat little asset.
Seeing as it's already possible to have icons above yoru head in (mission) outposts it's not that hard to alter their respective colours.

Could just have the regular Party signal, but tinted in colours.
Blue = Seeking Players
Red = Full
Yellow = Inactive

A minor sub-idea.
There is a emote for /Pickme, but I don't think people use that too often. One idea would be tie with that emote too, where when they use the emote /pickme in town or outpost, it will automatically add the LFG icon to their name (and/or also open up the Party menu as well). Repectively, could also add a /Joinus emote.

Nooo, I don't want to be automatically seeking party when I use that emote. That would be just annoying.
